Watch: Kate Bush Christmas Special

It's that time of year again. The networks bring out all of the cheesy festive television specials, from people like Michael Buble´ and Russell Peters, that have enough schmaltz to make you want to puke up your egg nog. Luckily over the years there have been rare holiday specials for people with more refined tastes, such as Johnny Cash, and in Britain the one and only Kate Bush.

The Kate Bush Christmas Special originally aired in 1979 right after the singer first made it big with her hit Wuthering Heights. The weird thing about the show is that it rarely mentions Christmas and instead features Bush singing a lot of her album tracks, dancing with freaky characters plus one special guest, her really good friend Peter Gabriel who sings Here Comes The Flood. Bonus: Kate Bush singing The Man With the Child in his Eyes on a 1978 episode of Saturday Night Live.
